Import Archive

We have only 1 reason why we import animals our self; we want Rare Reptiles and to pay the import for our self we order other species to compare the cost. So we sell the others to make it possible to buy "new" species. In the last 4 years we imported animals from 3 different places in the world. In 2003 we had our first import, from Paraguay. That was a very nice group of animals we bought, the packing material was excellent and the animals where in great health. After that import Paraguay closed the borders for export of reptiles. So we decided to import from Asia. In 2004 we did our first import from China and in 2005 we had an import from Malaysia and again in 2005 from China. Every time we had contact with different exporters, to learn of the quality and health of the animals. It's very hard to find real good, trustable people who will send animals. The year 2006 was a calm year, we wanted to do a pre-order for Malaysia, but that didn't work well. We waited very long on the export from Malaysia. In 2006 we only had two times snakes and lizards from Suriname by a friend who did an import from there. In January 2007 we got the long waited import from Malaysia.
In April 2007 we got our shipment from Indonesia. We did this import with a friend, so our order was small and contained some snakes, frogs and lizards. If you open Indonesia, you will find the species we got. A second import in 2007 was from Egypt. We did a small import with some snake species and some food for them.
